I love going to Bootcamp. I've gone to other fitness style camps and quickly became bored, same exercises over and over everyday.Here the routine changes day to day.It's fun and exciting, it's great for people like me with lots of aches and pains from a misspent youth.The instructors work with you and modify the exercises as needed and they can help you build up to the full workout at your pace. They don't crowd you, but gently encourage you to push yourself to get better.
I started with AFBBC in October 2017 with the 6 week Challenge. The challenge was to lose 25lbs or % BF to get your $500 back so this definitely gave me incentive to rock it at the gym 3 times a week and at home with the given home workout booklet we could print off!! Meal plans were essential and the accountability in the challenge was exceptional. I fully went into this CHALLENGE with the knowledge of what was put before me!!!I now am a full time member where I go up to 6 times a week and love it so much my 14 yr old and 12 yr old train there!!! The staff is amazing at teaching you form and technique. If you have an existing injury NO PROBLEM they modify the exercise on the spot so you can continue with the workout! Its as if you have a personal trainer next to you the whole class!!! The team spirit and non judgemental atmosphere is amazing. I could join a cheaper gym but I wouldn't be held accountable to actually go; therefore wasting my money!I strongly recommend Sheryl and her team for all your fitness needs!!!
I have had a vey positive experience with fitbody. I started with the 6week challenge and had great results. This is a flexible program that fits my busy schedule and gives me a great all around workout with experienced trainers to make sure exercises are being done correctly.
I started with AFBBC in Jan 2018 on thier six week challenge. The challenge was to lose 25lbs or a % of body fat to receive investment of $500 returned. This was an incentive but not my main goal. My goal was to achieve weight loss, gain strength, flexibility and learn how to eat clean and healthy. Both my family doctor and specialist encouraged the challenge. This was not an easy challenge for me as I could hardly climb a flight of stairs without having to sit as I was totally out of breath. I fully went into this challenge with the knowledge of what was put before me. I was provided with a meal plan, recipe book that I could print off at home and exercise programs should I not be able to attend the gym. Accountability was on me. Sheryl and her team provided the tools, all I had to do was embrace and make it happen. Amazingly I lost 20.4 lbs and 4.3% BF. I definitely could have reached the 25 lb goal had I been a little more committed. I am a full time member now attending at least 5 times per week. Sheryl provided a number of incentives and reductions in costs for the results that I achieved to show her appreciation for allowing her to be part of my wellness journey. I could have gone to a "cheaper" gym, but I wouldn't be held accountable to actually go; therefore would be wasting my time and moneyIt is fun and exciting. The instructors work with you to modify the workout as you may need should you have any limitations related to any type of injuries or health conditions. The staff are amazing providing continued support, motivation, teaching you proper form and technique. I definitely would not hesitate in the least to strongly recommend Sheryl and her team for all your fitness needs. I continue to lose weight, inches and gain strength daily/weekly on my continued journey. "DO Not" hesitate to take the step to do something good for yourself. You will not regret it. By the way! I joined the "free" six week challenge. Nope not free unless you lose 25lbs or 6% body fat in 6 weeks. It really cost $500 for the 6 weeks. We were limited to only 3 workouts a week, that I understand has changed. We were given the wrong measurements for our meat in the menu. My doctor advised that for me to loose 25 pounds in 6 weeks is dangerous. I was mocked/shunned for sharing my doctor's advice. I do love the workouts and they did give me a kick start. I worked through an injured knee and lost 16 lbs. We were "encouraged" to sign up with the gym at $130 per month if you pay 2 years in advance, $140 for a 18 month contract, $150 for a 12 month contract or $170 per month for a 6 month contract. I could not afford that huge amount. Sheryl's parting words were, You could not do it before us what makes you think you can do it without us now? Thank you for the motivation Sheryl, I have now lost 31 pounds and 4 dress sizes. Thank you to Ladies World for letting me join for less than $50 per month.
